The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making substantial earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary stare-down, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
