Overnight, Russian aerial assaults have caused electricity outages in extensive areas of the capital city, Kyiv.
Nine people were hurt while local people in the city's east were experienced blackouts and faced disruption to water supplies, per reports from municipal leaders.
At the same time, a minor was killed in a different assault in the southeastern region in the country's south-east, as reported by area administrators.
Russian forces has increased attacks on electrical systems over the past few days, while Ukrainian leadership has called for "concrete actions" from allies to exert influence on Russia.
"What is required is not window dressing but decisive action - from the America, the EU and the major economies - in delivering defensive weapons and applying penalties," mentioned in a public message.
Officials stated that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and more than 30 missiles attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such assaults as "premeditated" and against "essential services" as the weather cools.
Government representatives said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and repair crews were working to repair systems.
A barrage of missiles hit power facilities and residential structures in Kyiv.
Five out of the nine people hurt in the attacks on the capital have been hospitalized, per statements from municipal representatives.
Regional authorities said the metropolitan region came under heavy assaults overnight. A minor was killed and several individuals were wounded.

The whole nation is in a state of readiness for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are more difficult to identify.
National leaders told the media that Moscow was deliberately attempting to destroy the national power system, with assaults already affecting fuel infrastructure.
